Saskia Hallenga was appointed as Managing Director International Cooperation of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) in February 2025. On behalf of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, RVO supports programs to strengthen the private sector in developing countries and contributes to solutions for global problems such as water safety and security, food security, energy, climate and land rights. RVO cooperates closely with the private sector, knowledge institutions, governments and social organisations.

Saskia Hallenga was born in the United States and studied Slavic Languages in Groningen, St Petersburg and Prague. She held various positions in the private sector, the non-profit sector and in the Dutch Government, specialising in international cooperation and sustainability.
